Wyvern Media is a national publisher of newspapers and magazines with offices based throughout the United Kingdom. It was established in 1984 in Derby and now employs more than 200 people. It currently produces 28 weekly newspaper titles as well as magazines, event guides, yearbooks and websites. Its administrative headquarters are based in Derby but it also has offices in Coventry, Rugby, Leamington Spa, Leicester, Nottingham, Slough, Weston Super Mare, Bristol, Gloucester and Taunton. Recent years has seen Wyvern Media move into other areas and it now has a significant online presence through its Media Today Online digital arm. It also has interests in print finishing and packaging. Despite moving into other areas Wyvern Media main interests remain in newsprint and the publishing of newspapers. Some Wyvern Media publications like The Gazette and The Nottingham Journal are available to buy through retail outlets while some of its well known titles like The Surrey and Hampshire Express, The Greater London Chronicle and The London and Thames Express are availabe freely.
